session types

  • Intake Session

    Everyone begins with a 50-minute intake session. This will include a lot of information gathering. We will discuss current stressors/challenges and begin to align around goals for therapy.

  • Individual Session

    Typically scheduled weekly, this session is one-on-one with me and focused on making progress towards our treatment goals. Always rooted in evidence and tailored to the specific needs and interests of each person.

  • Parent Session

    I encourage parent sessions for parents of kids or teens enrolled in therapy with me. Cadence will vary depending on age and symptoms.

    I also offer parent sessions as a standalone service for parents of younger kids looking for guidance around managing their child’s anxiety and big behaviors.

  • Walk and talk

    Care for your mental and physical health at the same time. 50-minute walking session outside in Golden Gate Park. Appropriate for teens or young adults only.

  • Co-parent counseling

    For divorced, separated or never-partnered parents looking to develop a more effective and cooperative co-parenting relationship. Whether you’re tackling one specific stuck point, or navigating more expansive challenges, we will reach for alignment on parenting issues, always keeping your child’s wellbeing front and center.
