Individual Therapy

For kids
I will create a safe space for your child to express themselves, deepen their understanding of their internal experiences and learn new skills to manage thoughts and feelings. It is a great time to set a solid foundation for how to care for our mental health and to build confidence in our ability to do so.
The younger the child, the more actively the parent will participate. Generally, I meet with parents anywhere from weekly to monthly so that we can closely partner in supporting your child and tracking their progress, and offer parent coaching as it’s helpful. We will determine the cadence together based on symptom presentation and goals.

For teens and young adults
My hope is that therapy will feel both safe and useful. A space you can come as you are and know you will be welcomed and accepted. A space where you will learn and grow and step more fully into yourself.
We will work together to identify goals for your therapy, which will help guide us through our time together. These may shift and change over time, or new goals may surface as we spend more time in therapy. I offer sessions in my office, virtually or walking through Golden Gate Park.
I specialize in working with young people who are navigating life transitions and managing day to day stressors, experiencing anxiety or low/depressed mood, or processing trauma or grief. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I commend you for taking this first step.
